Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif top rankers Times Celebex India’s first and most definitive and scientific ranking system for Bollywood actors announced the top 50 rankers for the months of September, October and November 2012, Times of India (TOI) reported.Change is the only constant and Bollywood is its classic example. It’s a world where destinies change every Friday, where meteoric rises and sharp dips are occupational hazards. In such a world, assessing star ratings is no easy task.
According to the Times Celebex Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif have got the top ranks in November while salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor were winners in September with the highest scores.
Times Celebex is a scientific and robust ranking system based on data collected from 200+ publications and 250+ TV channels, making it the first ever ranking system for Bollywood. The next rating for the month of December will be announced soon. Thereafter, Times Celebex will be a monthly rating, announced on the subsequent first of every month.Among the male Times Celebex Rankes Shahrukh Khan gained the highet PR score for November because of his screen chemistry with co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, for his movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan that grossed over 100 core giving him a high box office score.He also became the second highest searched actor on the net with 78 lakh searches in November, and more than 64 lakh social media fans. His 20 brand endorsements also took him to the top slot, according to Times of India.While among the female Times Celebex Rankers the stunning Katrina Kaif joined her co-star SRK at the top spot with Jab Tak Hai Jaan grossing 100 crore plust at the box office.According to Times of India Katrina was also the highest scorer in popularity polls and became the second most searched Indian actress on the internet with 1.7 crore searches and 9.2 lakh social media fans. Thanks to the news of her sister Isabella’s Bollywood debut, Nargis Fakhri’s comments about her and also her 12 brand endorsements, she clinched the numero uno position.

'Shahrukh Khan should move to Pakistan'

Lahore, Jan 28: In a surprising advice to Shahrukh Khan, Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed asked the Bollywood superstar to move to Pakistan.

The terror outfit Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) chief Saeed, during an interview with Express News programme Takrar, said, "Shahrukh will be welcome here (Pakistan)." Saeed asserted that Shahrukh should move to Pakistan if he feels "insecure" in India.

The advice seems to be a response to the Bollywood star's revelation where he explained the sufferings which he has been facing for being a Muslim in the post-9/11 world.

In a first person account titled "Being a Khan" for Outlook Turning Points magazine, published in association with The New York Times newspaper, the 47-year-old actor has poured out his agony to the readers.
The star was quoted as saying, "I sometimes become the inadvertent object of political leaders who choose to make me a symbol of all that they think is wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India."
"I gave my son and daughter names that could pass for generic (pan-India and pan-religious) ones - Aryan and Suhana. The Khan has been bequeathed by me so they can't really escape it," he added.
"I pronounce it with my epiglottis when asked by Muslims and throw the Aryan as evidence of their race when non-Muslims enquire. I imagine this will prevent my offspring from receiving unwarranted eviction orders or random fatwas in the future."
SRK also added that he became so sick of being mistaken for some crazed terrorist, "who co-incidentally carries the same name as mine that I made a film subtly titled 'My Name Is Khan' (and I am not a terrorist) to prove a point."
"Ironically, I was interrogated at the airport for hours about my last name when I was going to promote the film in America for the first time," he added.

It was a busy weekend for the Bollywood stars who were zipping from one party to another to meet their various social commitments.First up was actress Vidya Balan and UTV/Disney CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur’s glitzy wedding reception hosted by Karan Johar at UTV head Ronnie Screwvala and Zarina Mehta’s residence.Next, a merry gang of actors and actresses danced off a sweat for the Police event before sailing into industrialist Mukesh Ambani's bash at his residence.And given that many of these stars had shared not-so-great history congregated at the same place, there were plenty of nail-biting moments for onlookers, mostly hoping for fireworks.But the stars were at their best civilised self. But few things happened is worth mentioning.Shah Rukh Khan has always been in news for his relationship with friends and co-stars. After having a spat with Salman Khan and Shirish Kunder, now Shah Rukh Khan is constantly avoiding once good friend Arjun Rampal.

At Vidya-Siddharth's party all Arjun Rampal needed was to extend his arm and he could shake hands with Shah Rukh Khan and put to rest all those rumours of their friendship gone wrong.But Arjun decided otherwise and kept his arms by his side and the two “simply saw through each other,” says an eye-witness.SRK and wife Gauri who walked in after midnight were mingling with the rest of the Bollywood crowd but kept their distance from Arjum Rampal.According to the latest buzz, Shah Rukh and Arjun Rampal were seen avoiding each other at the launch of Dabboo Ratnani's 2013 calendar.Both Arjun and Shah Rukh feature regularly in the ace photographer's annual calendar.Arjun and SRK who have been close buddies, timed their entry and exit to Dabboo's launch to avoid running in to each other.Hrithik Roshan, who was part of the trio, brought in his 39th birthday with a party on-board a yacht off the coast of Mumbai. Arjun and wife Mehr Jessia were among the close knit of friends who joined in the party.Among the guests actor Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan attended the celebration but her famous husband was nowhere to be seen.Interestingly, Arjun Rampal reportedly is getting pally with another big Khan of Bollywood - Salman Khan.Now we need not get into details about the enmity Shah Rukh and Salman shares, right?

Mumbai: Dabangg Salman Khan is known for his tiffs with superstar Shahrukh Khan but the latter was seen defending SRK on reality show Bigg Boss 6(which Salman hosts) when Imam Siddique, one of the contestants, claimed to have contributed to his success.Salman, who is riding high after the success of his latest release Dabangg 2, praised King Khan on Bigg Boss 6 and a surprising queue of statements came one after another, post Imam bragged about casting SRK.When asked about this Salman said, "If anyone has become something, it is because of his dedication. We have no right to put somebody down. We don't get along at all, but what is not right is not right. The fact that SRK comes out of his house and goes to work provides so many people with work...so who are you to take credit for that?" said Salman who doesn't let his problems with Shahrukh bother him much.Imam even bragged of casting Preity Zinta and became a victim of Salman's anger.Initially, Salman got infuriated with the way Imam behaved when he (Imam) tried his 'time-out' trick. While an open voting, everyone had to choose two contestants whom they wanted them to dislodge from house. In his votes, however, Imam voted against the captain of the house Niketan Madhok, which was against the rules. Salman desperately tried several times to make him understand things and another person in the house but he refused all and insisted on his 'time-out' act.Salman got angry with Imam's behaviour and responded starkly asking, "Is this the way you will talk to me?" Later on when Imam boasted that he, in his career has casted Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, his (Salman's) anguish had no boundaries and he striked back, that "Shahrukh Khan is Shahrukh Khan because of his hard work and not because he casted them.""Shahrukh is in the industry because of his hard work and the support of his fans. It is because he has pursued his career with determination that he is a big man and not because you cast him in an advertisement," added Salman.Later Imam apologized and said that such was not his intention.

The BollywoodLife Awards 2012 got a tremendous response from its readers. The Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan bagged most of the popular awards including Best Khan, Best Male Rockstar, Red Carpet Icon of the Year and Best Kiss, amongst others. SRK’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan was voted as Best Film of 2012 and also the best Rs 100-crore film. Seems like King Khan is here to stay! The actor had also won the maximum trophies at last year’s BL Awards.

In fickle Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar’s friendship is known to have stood the test of time, egos and stardom. Yet, the two made news recently with a report suggesting that the filmmaker turned down the actor’s invitation on New Year’s Eve (for dinner at SRK’s Dubai Karan also says that the Khans knew of his plans and he was in constant touch with Gauri Khan before they left for Dubai. “We spend 360 days in a year with each other anyway. Also, Shah Rukh and Gauri’s New Year celebrations were largely meant for the kids (the children of Boney Kapoor- Sridevi, Chunkey and Bhavna Pandey, and Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor were also present along with their parents). Shah Rukh tweeted that he played soccer with Suhana till 5 am on the beach. Am I expected to go and play football? It’s a very silly thing,” Karan says.

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are seen wearing a lungi in a new poster from Chennai Express. Both the actors look funky in the traditional look with aviators to complete the look. Shooting of Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is on in full swing. 

The unit recently completed a long shooting schedule in Wai.

Karan Johar turns down Shahrukh Khan invitation.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shahrukh Khan have been the best of pals for years now. And to no surprise, Karan Johar was much expected to celebrate this New Year with Khan but KJo chose to turn down SRK’s invite at the last moment.
Karan Johar who was very much in Dubai at that night had been invited by both Salman Khan and SRK to their respective NYE celebrations hosted in Palm Jumeirah address, The Times of India reported.
A source close to the filmmaker spilled the beans: “Karan did receive an invite from SRK, and for the longest time he was actually in two minds whether he should miss it or be there. For years they have ushered in the New Year together in Dubai. You can say, the tradition was broken for the first time.”
Reportedly, Khan’s dinner bash was a quiet and private affair. It was attended by SRK’s other friends Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Chunkey Pandey and wife, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor. But, unfortunately, KJo wasn’t a part of it.
This comes as reports suggest that Karan Johar will be joining SRK in Dubai to celebrate the New Year as Karan Johar has been rather emphatic about nixing all reports of a cooling-off between him and SRK.
He declared in an interview with the Times of India, “SRK, Gauri and I are one unit.” But his absence from the Khan household on such a special occasion may just take the bite off his argument the next time.
In the meantime a source close to Shahrukh Khan said, “May be he just wanted to celebrate in his own way, or may be he could not make up his mind.”
